I was there with my wife. We were lucky for two reasons. 1. The weather was good and 2. We got the winery recommended by friends. What can I say, the friends were right. Great accommodation, great food, excellent wines and very nice people. We will definitely be back and of course we recommend. The tarte flambée Bürgerstyl is highly recommended.

Very nice staff, we got a table without a reservation. The tarte flambée was great, thin base and richly topped! The liquor and wine were very good! We are excited!!! And would love to come back!

We had a seat in the very cozy wine cellar. Despite a full house, very friendly and courteous service staff. The food came in a timely manner and was downright tasty. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.

We tasted delicious wine and ate well. The service was quick and we took a few bottles of wine home with us, which you can buy there. We would love to come back!

Top - delicious food, delicious wines, brisk and organized service. After dinner, we took part in a wine tasting and enjoyed the good wines and accompanying explanations from the winemaker. Everything is right here, so a clear recommendation!

Uniquely beautiful. Accommodation and meals were very good despite Corona restrictions. The Knaup family, including the staff, are friendly, helpful and absolutely warm. I don't think we were there for the last time.

For hospitality you have to give 10 stars here, everyone was incredibly friendly, hard-working and helpful. Room was very nice and well-kept, breakfast delicious! The food in the restaurant was good too, but I would definitely think about suitable background music here ... in such a location it just doesn't fit when the radio is on and Metallica is suddenly played!

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Good mattresses for a good night's sleep. We could park the bikes safely. The evening meal and breakfast in the morning were really good, as was the wine. This is our second time here and we would love to come back.

Food was delicious, we had the tarte flambée Waldläufer and baked potatoes with chicken. Best tarte flambée I've ever eaten! Great price-performance ratio.

Delicious local food, low prices for such a touristic place, the waitress were very nice, we loved it !

Cosy restaurant and weingut. Low prices for decent food and wine. Not many options for vegetarians and vegans though. It was very busy every evening, if you'd like to sit outside then booking a table is recommended.

Nicely furnished locality with delicious, also regional typical food. The nice service and the good location round up the good impression. The service was very friendly and helpful, we were glad that we got a table at short notice, the food looked good and tasted good too! I can only recommend the restaurant.

Cozy, good food and wine 1 big disadvantage is no fans or refrigerator in 2020 really a disadvantage it was very hot but otherwise worth the effort but if it is predicted to be very hot bring a fan or fridge box;) you can get ice cream in edeka 2 min from the hotel. Another disadvantage also in 2020 no kettle in the room .Very clean too!

Very, very nice, rustic restaurant. Excellent food, despite or perhaps because of the clear menu. Very courteous service staff. The wines of the winery can also be bought there at the price of the winery. Thanks for the good service ....

Very nice owners. You immediately felt comfortable. The rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was also very rich and sufficient. We would come back.

Good food, bad wine, no bier.

A great restaurant, which can only be recommended for a stop. The interior is rustic but very comfortable, the service runs like clockwork. The food was hot, delicious and more than rich.

The best. Absolute best Apple pie with ice-cream I ate in my life. Feedback: have one person/waiter for a table. If you have multiple errors are more quickly made. So I had to wai 30 minutes for the Apple pie. But it was worth

Great food, great service

Our stop in Germany. Wonderful place. Food is delicious and cheap. Second best schnitzel I've ate. Waitresses are very friendly and they speak English. Good and cheap wine. I don't usually give a 5 stars but I really enjoyed my food over here and the time I spend waitig for it was really nice. There is a bufet with salad so you can always make you own salad to eat. Just like at Magda Gessler restaurants. Place to visit again!! For sure!

Lovely wine but inhospitable place. Arrived at 20:45 and asked if still serving, was told yes and welcomed into restaurant. Ordered food and wine, the wine was opened and served. Then told that what we ordered (schnitzels!) was unavailable, we ordered an alternative and then suddenly told that the kitchen was closed. No explanation given, just a sorry with a complimentary liquor thrown in. Not welcoming to tourists.

What a fabulous find! Serving one of the best red wines I've ever had. A very warm welcome with our dog. Lovely informal cosy ambiance. Food is to die for.
